This synergy was further reinforced through a visit held on <strong>April 16, 2026<\/strong>, during which the JATIM Steel delegation was warmly received by the Head of the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Dr. Sutarsis, along with the ITS Research and Development (R&amp;D) team.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration reflects a shared commitment between industry and academia to advance innovation, develop superior steel materials, and enhance the competitiveness of Indonesia&#8217;s steel industry. Through this partnership, <strong><strong>PT \u30b8\u30e3\u30c6\u30a3\u30e0\u30fb\u30bf\u30de\u30f3\u30fb\u30b9\u30c1\u30fc\u30eb\u30fb\u30de\u30cb\u30e5\u30d5\u30a1\u30af\u30c1\u30e3\u30ea\u30f3\u30b0<\/strong><\/strong> and ITS aim to contribute to building a more resilient, independent, and sustainable national steel ecosystem.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mitsubishisteel-indonesia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1055\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.1356630227417255;width:836px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This meeting marks a concrete step toward integrating the strengths of industry and academia in addressing increasingly complex global challenges, while also creating broader opportunities for collaboration in the development of advanced materials.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration is focused on <strong>materials research and development<\/strong>, <strong>enhancing engineering capabilities<\/strong>, \u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066 <strong>building a sustainable innovation ecosystem<\/strong>. By combining JATIM Steel&#8217;s extensive industrial experience with ITS&#8217;s academic excellence, the partnership is expected to generate technology-driven solutions that will strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia&#8217;s steel industry at both regional and global levels.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than just a partnership, this initiative represents a shared commitment to positioning Indonesia not merely as a consumer market, but as an <strong>independent and globally competitive producer of high-quality steel<\/strong>.
