PT Jatim Taman Steel Manufacturing (Jatim Steel) has once again reaffirmed its commitment as a national steel producer that continues to transform through the Innovation Convention 2025.

This annual event serves as an important platform for all employees to share ideas, improvement results, and innovations that bring tangible impact on efficiency, quality, and the company’s competitiveness at both national and global levels.

In his remarks, the President Director of Jatim Steel, Numakawa, emphasized that the involvement of all elements within the organization is the key foundation in building a resilient and adaptive steel plant.

“Transformation cannot run without everyone’s participation. I truly appreciate the spirit and dedication of the entire team in fostering a culture of innovation at Jatim Steel. This is the key to a more competitive future,” he stated.

This year’s innovation convention showcased various initiatives from across all levels — ranging from Employee Suggestion (ES) at the operator level, Quality Control Circle (QCC) at the team level, to Quality Control Project (QCP) among staff and management.

Each initiative is aimed at improving productivity, reducing costs, strengthening quality control, and supporting Jatim Steel’s vision of becoming an efficient and sustainable steel industry.

As a form of appreciation, the company awarded all participants through four categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards. Notably, every participant received recognition for their contribution in building a culture of innovation within the workplace.

On the same occasion, the Director of Jatim Steel, Ujie, highlighted the importance of maintaining an innovative mindset in facing future industry challenges.

“We must continue to grow over time. The steel industry is moving fast, and Jatim Steel must stay at the forefront of change,” he emphasized.

This event symbolizes strong synergy between leadership and employees in creating sustainable added value.
